Personal Trainer / Athletic Coaching

CERTIFICATE, 18 CREDITS

Riverland Community Colleges Personal Trainer / Athletic Coaching certificate program will prepare students for one of the national personal trainer certification exams by providing theoretical knowledge, along with practical skills and concepts, for optimal training performance.

Students will also be certified for a Head/Varsity coaching position. Completing the coaching core will satisfy standards created by the Minnesota public school system which are designed to improve knowledge of skill development, first aid, CPR, care and prevention of athletic injury, coaching fundamentals and philosophy.
