Nursing Assistant
Program Graduate Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, the graduate will:
- Demonstrate warmth, kindness and compassion in assisting the client with health care.
- Communicate effectively with all healthcare providers and clients with respect for diversity of culture, age and gender.
- Apply safety and infection control measures to client care at all times in the classroom, lab, and clinical setting.
- Correctly perform skills necessary to safely fulfill the role of the Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide, including infection control practices.
