The College Choir is open to any Riverland student without audition. In this group students explore a wide range of music in a variety of languages and historical styles and focus on improving musical and singing skills.
The Choir typically gives two to four concerts throughout the academic year. Recent performances have included collaborations with the Austin Symphony Orchestra, the Southeastern Minnesota Chamber Orchestra, as well as concerts with internationally-recognized guest artists. The Choir has appeared in festivals on stage at Carnegie Hall (2000, 2014) and Lincoln Center (2003, 2012). Hear a sample performance here.
Students participating in College Choir may be eligible for a Music Talent Grant of $250 or more. More information can be found at Riverland Scholarships.
