Community Music Engagement

CERTIFICATE, 20 CREDITS

This certificate is designed to give students the knowledge and skills to successfully share their talents with the broader community. The certificate consists of study of musical foundations, music’s function in society, and musical communication. Upon successful completion of the certificate, students will be prepared to for careers such as independent artist, salesperson, studio teacher, church musician, or for transfer. This entire certificate can be used toward completion of the AA-Music Emphasis degree at Riverland, or can be used for transfer to another college or university.
