Workstation Support Assistant

10-15 hrs per week Hours per week
*General expertise related to computer support. *Installation and support of software, PC's, printers and other peripherals. *Analyze problems, recommend solutions, and document actions taken. *Ability to handle walk-in questions related to technology or provide directions to available resources. *Use free time not needed to fulfill the above duties to do self-training to develop knowledge and skills related to the position. *Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned.
Intermediate knowledge of computer equipment and related software. Ability to problem solve computer related issues, install computer hardware and software, and maintain a positive customer service environment. Expected to be on time for scheduled shifts. Courteous to students, faculty and staff. Communicate in person, via phone, and/or email when issues occur.
