A Collaborative and Inclusive Process

This strategic plan was co-created through a collaborative process to define Riverland's priorities for the next five years. The plan identifies key themes, Wildly Important Goals (WIGs), and desired outcomes.

Throughout 2024, broad input was gathered through:

  • 25 one-on-one discovery interviews
  • A large-scale all-staff event (150+ participants)
  • Three student forums
  • Community listening sessions & online survey
  • An industry partner survey

This data was analyzed and refined through three key reports:

  1. Discovery Report
  2. Emerging Themes and Opportunities Report
  3. Drafted 2025–2030 Strategic Plan

Guidance & Transparency

Plan development was led by:

  • Lily Lane Consulting LLC (external consulting firm)
  • Strategic Planning Design Team
  • Riverland President’s Cabinet & Dean Team

A strong commitment to transparency ensured that stakeholder input shaped this plan.

A Living, Adaptable Plan

The 2025–2030 Strategic Plan reflects the intentions of Riverland students, staff, faculty, and administration. It will guide:

  • Decision-making
  • Departmental planning
  • Resource allocation

Recognizing future uncertainties, we will regularly review and adjust the plan as needed.
