Someone with a strong work ethic with attention to detail.

What job positions/titles do you hire/look for? 

Production Specialist - the most common open position.  The Production Specialist is directly responsible in the production of ethanol operations.  This position does not require a specific education and individuals are trained on site.  This position leads to opportunity and advancement within the production department.

Electrician – electrician degree.  Responsible for electrical work/repairs.

Maintenance Tech – no degrees required but beneficial, such as welding, etc…  Responsible for maintaining equipment onsite.

Grains/Ethanol Attendant – no degrees required but ag background or education is beneficial.  Responsible for receiving grain and loading out ethanol and ddgs.

What are expected starting salaries/wages for these titles? 

Starting wages depend on position hired for but start at $16/hour for base positions.

What opportunities for advancement/promotion are available within your company with an Ag Science Degree? 

Opportunity for advancing to supervisor position or working in the lab.

How does starting their education at Riverland prepare them for a career with your company?

Even though many of our positions don’t require a degree, it is still beneficial to receive an ag-related education as this would be beneficial in understanding the culture of the company.
