High school teachers can teach Riverland Community College Ag & Food Science classes concurrently through their local high schools through Riverland’s College Now program. Teachers can teach a number of Riverland’s classes to their high school students in their classrooms. During the concurrent process, these teachers are mentored by Riverland faculty and have the opportunity to share and discuss appropriate curriculum, receive feedback and support when needed, and increase their professional development through discipline-specific workshops. Many of these workshops include local industry partners who will share what they are seeing their appropriate discipline and share ways teachers can use this information/technologies while they teach their concurrent classes
