Workforce Development Inc. (WDI) has dislocated worker funding available for high-demand career education and training from Riverland. Some program areas include:
 
 
You may be eligible for this program if you are out of work through no fault of your own, eligible for unemployment insurance, and unlikely to return to your previous occupation or industry.

Women in Truck Driving Program

WDI has funding available through a WESA grant for women of color, women over 50, or low-income women to enroll in Riverland’s Truck Driving program beginning August 24, 2020.

Get real-world, hands-on training with Riverland’s 16-week commercial (CDL) truck driving program. Benefits include a built-in 4-week internship, direct job connections with area carriers, and endorsements in the following areas: box trailers, flatbeds, double/triples, tankers, and large passenger vehicle (bus, motorcoach).
