Riverland Community College

The Interactive Television (ITV), delivery method provides two-way, real-time communication between the instructor and students who are at different viewing sites. Riverland has ITV classrooms at our Austin, Albert Lea, and Owatonna sites.  

Using ITV, Riverland instructors are connected to separate locations and students attend class at these sites. Although the look and feel is different from the traditional classroom, students receive the same instruction as if the instructor were standing right in front of them. Because students and instructor are all meeting at the same time, they quickly forget that they are at different locations.
