Automotive Service Internship

This course is designed to provide the student a purposeful occupational experience in the automotive career field. A training plan is created for each student in conjunction with the training site. The advisor coordinates and monitors the progress of the internship. One credit of internship is equal to 48 hours of career-related employment. This internship consists of 96 hours. The student must arrange the internship with instructor approval.

This course will give the student a thorough understanding of what Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are, how to diagnose, and calibrate those systems.

Prerequisites: AUTO 1432 Intermediate Electronics, AUTO 1435 Introduction to ADAS and AV.
