This seamless program allows students to earn an Associate in Arts (AA) degree at Riverland and then complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education online through Winona State University.

Admission Requirements for WSU’s Elementary Education Program:

  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 for the most recent 30 credits.
  • A grade of "B" or better in at least one English course (ENGL 1101 or ENGL 1105).
  • A grade of "B" or better in Speech (SPCH 1100).
  • A grade of "C" or better in one of the required Math courses (MATH 1110 or higher, MATH 2021, MATH 2203).
  • Successful application and acceptance to Winona State University.
  • Completion of the Early Clinical requirement.
