The schedule does not address English course prerequisite requirements based upon test score results or course offering location.  Review your test scores to determine prerequisite requirements.  A minimum of 16 credits are required.  The program identifies 7 required core credits, and the student should select 3 BUSA elective credits from the required Business elective options list and an additional 6 credits from Additional electives list.  See Program Advisor for course selection.

Entrepreneurship

Students will learn the process of creating and developing a business venture from an original or innovative idea. The focus will be on the stages of development of the new venture including research, planning, feasibility analysis, capitalization, and management. Students will learn how to use resources to start and operate a small business. In addition to learning the process, students will select an idea for a new venture and create a business plan.

This course covers basic marketing functions in the global business world. Topics include product development, pricing, distribution, and promotion; consumer behavior; economic, legal, social, technological and competitive environments of marketing; collecting and using marketing information; ethical and social responsibilities; and international marketing.
