Start your path toward a meaningful and fast paced career in firefighting. Riverland’s Fire Services Certificate gives you the hands on training and essential skills needed to begin working in the fire service.

What You’ll Learn

Students develop the skills needed to respond safely and confidently during emergencies. Training includes:

• Basic firefighting techniques

• Use of ladders, hoses, and self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA)
• Fire control and suppression
• Hazardous materials awareness and operations
• Scene safety and communication

Hands On Training
