Practical Nursing (Diploma) Program Outcomes

The nursing department at Riverland Community College is pleased to inform students, faculty, and the community about the program outcomes for its Practical Nursing (Diploma) program. Several major outcomes are regularly monitored in order to continually improve the nursing programs at Riverland Community College: graduate completion rate, NCLEX-PN (licensure) pass rates, and job placement rate.

NCLEX-PN Licensure Pass Rate

• The NCLEX-PN pass rate is the percent of graduates who pass the national PN licensure examination on their first attempt.

(NCLEX exam pass rate data for first time test takers who take the exam between January 1 – December 31 of each year)

Job Placement Rate

• The job placement rate is the percent of graduates who find employment as an LPN within 6-12 months after graduation.
