- Wish to take up to 16 credits at Riverland.
- Plan to transfer the credits back to the home institution.

- Does not hold a permanent residency status in the US (e.g., no Green Card).
- Needs a visa to study in the United States.
PSEO / Concurrent Student
- Currently enrolled in a high school in Minnesota.
- Interested in taking college-level courses while still in high school.
- Ready for a more challenging academic environment compared to traditional high school classes.
Veterans
- Actively serving in the military.
- In the reserves, a veteran.
- A military family member.
Adult Learner
- Been out of high school or college for a few years or more.
- Ready to go back to school.
