The Minnesota State Centers of Excellence and Riverland are excited to invite you to “Minnesota Works: Exploring Tech and Trades” on Friday, November 8 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Riverland Community College in Albert Lea, Minnesota.

This event is your invitation to explore the high skill and high paying jobs critical to Minnesota’s economic future. This daylong event will feature a morning with a snapshot of eight career sectors to explore with hands-on activities. You’ll have the opportunity in the afternoon to immerse yourself in a one-hour session with leaders and students in these fields, allowing you and program students to become more informed and excited about career education. There will be opportunities for tours of Riverland's labs and classroom spaces.
If you’re interested in pursuing a technical or trade career after high school, want to learn more about the opportunities a technical college can provide, or are completely undecided about what your next steps will be, this would be a great experience for you to explore your options.
