Kim Schaufenbuel has recently joined Riverland Community College and brings with her training experience in the key areas of Leadership, Safety, Community Organizing, and Business practices. Additionally, Kim’s training responsibility will include Mental Health First Aid, Information Technology, Manufacturing, and Truck Driving, among other disciplines. Kim can provide a customized training solution for nearly any need presented in our communities.
Kim graduated from Wartburg College with a Bachelor of Music Education degree and received her Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Hamline University. Her 20-year sales career includes expert sales and service of various products from mufflers and shock absorbers to surgical devices. She successfully served United Way of Steele County as Executive Director for 7 years. Kim loves serving her community and remains involved in statewide agencies, such as Minnesota Humanities Center, and regional and local boards such as Mayo Clinic Health System. Kim’s ability to develop expertise in many varied disciplines helps her develop curricula and programs for all the areas she serves.
