OSHA 10-Hour Construction Course


This OSHA 10-Hour Construction Course provides basic training on OSHA requirements and safety and health hazards within the construction industry.  
This course is intended for persons newly entering the construction sector and are seeking basic training on OSHA and occupational hazards.  


Through the OSHA Outreach Training program, an OSHA-authorized Outreach trainer will deliver this course (1.5 days Actual Length). Upon successful completion students will earn the, “OSHA 10 Card for Construction.” This completion card is provided by the OSHA Training Institute. 

Learning Objectives: 

  • Understand importance of OSHA in regulating employee safety on construction sites
  • Knowledge of employees' rights and employer responsibilities
  • Recognize construction processes, tasks, and equipment

No class offerings at this time.

*OSHA 10 & 30-Hour courses are NOT the prerequisites for the, “OSHA 500- Trainer Course in OSHA Standards for Construction.” Students seeking authorization to teach this curriculum must take, “OSHA 510 and OSHA 500 courses.” Finally, OSHA Outreach Training is voluntary and it cannot be utilized to meet an employer’s required compliance training responsibilities.
