Classes are held at Fire Departments in the Southeastern Minnesota area. Our 1001 firefighting class is a non-certification, hour-based course that will train you to a level II fire fighter.
Upon completion, you will receive a certificate of achievement from Riverland Community College. You then have the option of taking the certification test through the Minnesota State Fire Certification Board.
Classes can be held at your Department with a schedule that is convenient for your employees. Riverland also has an online/blended learning option where all of the course lecture is completed online and hands on training scheduled on the weekends.
