Nursing Assistant Review

Riverland is excited to offer review sessions to prepare you for the Nursing Assistant competency exam. You can sign up for knowledge review, skills review, or both. Upon completion of your review class, faculty will help you register for your MN Nursing Assistant Competency Exam. Please see course descriptions and links to register below.

NURSING ASSISTANT REVIEW - SKILLS

This informative course has been created to help get you ready to take the Minnesota Nurse Aide Competency Exam. Our short, hands on skills review outlines the topics you need to know to be confident on test day. Each skill will be demonstrated according to state standards of testing and you will be given an opportunity to practice. This course is a good refresher for those who have let their certifications expire or anyone wanting to refresh prior to testing. Completion of this course does not guarantee passage of the state competency exam. This course is NOT a Minnesota approved nursing assistant training program and you will not receive credit for this course.

NURSING ASSISTANT REVIEW - KNOWLEDGE

This comprehensive Nurse Aide knowledge review program is designed to help you review details about NA concepts regarding duties, emergency care, safety, pain management and more. All of the topics addressed in this course are those you may be tested on when sitting for the Minnesota Nurse Competency Exam. This course is a good refresher for those who have let their certifications expire or anyone wanting to refresh prior to testing. Completion of this course does not guarantee passage of the state competency exam. This course is NOT a Minnesota approved nursing assistant training program and you will not receive credit for this course.
