Why TEAS®?

The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS® VI) is used as part of the admissions process by Nursing and Allied Health schools nationwide. This (online) exam preparation course is designed to help prepare students who are planning on attempting the TEAS® VI Nursing Entrance Exam test.

What:

The class will review all the major Mathematics, Science and English language topics covered in the official ATI TEAS® VI preparation manual. Students will have access to 150 lecture videos on relevant topics and will be provided free e-books for Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Additional notes will be provided as needed. Additional resources will be provided for the English language portion of the exam.
This is a non-credit course and does not qualify for financial aid.

Who will benefit from taking this class?

Students who are preparing for the TEAS® VI test to gain admission in MANE accredited Nursing programs in Minnesota and other programs outside of the state that requires the TEAS® test.

Prerequisites

Are there required prerequisites to taking the course? There are no required prerequisites for this course. However, General Biology and General Chemistry are recommended prerequisites.

Where:

This class will be delivered entirely online with the instructor available for weekly online office hours, Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. – Noon. Instructor available through Skype, D2L chat, phone, and email.

When is the course offered?

This four-week course is offered twice a month with a new session beginning on the 1st and 15th of each month.
