Brianna Deterling is a visual artist who primarily works with clay. Her work is influenced by childhood adventures playing outside amongst a snowmobile junk yard, exploring the woods around her home, building forts, reading and watching fantasy stories, and being around her family's collecting habits.
Her work has exhibited nationally and internationally, most notably at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft in Houston, Texas; Amarillo Museum of Art in Amarillo, Texas; Attleboro Arts Museum in Attleboro, Massachusetts; and the Chihuahua Institute of Culture in Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico.
