I love community colleges, the purpose and people we serve. I was a low income first generation college student who didn't enjoy the university life immediately following graduating from a small Iowa high school. I was a reverse transfer student to a community college and found where I belonged. Myself, my husband and our daughter are all community college graduates thus far and hopefully our son in the future! I am passionate about the variety of roles the college serves and the diverse group we support, educate, and grow. While the majority of my experience is in direct student support, I truly believe all employees of a community college are here to help students. Regardless of our titles, positions, or levels, everything we do impacts the student experience in some fashion.
