I grew up in Southern Minnesota in a small farming community and have continued living in various communities throughout the region. I became a registered radiologic technologist in 2006 and began working in my local community's hospital immediately after graduation. In 2014, I received my Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Science Leadership degree from Concordia University-St. Paul. I began my teaching career that same year. In the fall of 2017, I graduated with my Masters of Education-Career and Technical Education from Concordia University-Portland. I have a passion for this profession and love being part of future technologists' educational journeys. I began my Riverland career in January 2017 as the Radiography Clinical Coordinator.
