More than 300 fire fighters from Minnesota and surrounding states will participate in the Minnesota State Fire/EMS/Rescue School April 6 & 7. Participants will gain classroom and hands-on experience in a variety of safety courses designed to enhance performance in community fire departments.
Riverland Community College has named Dr. Heather Conley Vice President of Academics and Innovation. Dr. Conley has most recently been working as an Independent Contractor and has previous academic work experience at Minnesota State College Southeast, Highlands College at Montana Technological University, Kirkwood Community College, Simpson College, Iowa State University and Montana State University Billings.
Riverland Community College has been selected by Achieving the Dream (ATD), a national, leading higher education reform network of more than 300 community colleges across the country, to be part of its second Accelerating Equitable Outcomes initiative.
Riverland Community College is honored to announce its designation as an Emerging Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) by the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU). This recognition comes because of the college’s dedicated efforts to serve the Hispanic community, with 15.8 percent of its current enrollment comprising Hispanic students.
