The Riverland Athletic Golf Fundraiser scheduled for June 3 has been postponed until June 24.

The large amount of rainfall we have received over the past few weeks has caused the Austin Country Club to restrict the use of golf carts on the course.

A fundraiser event like this requires the use of golf carts. Many of the players cannot walk the entire 18-holes and the speed of play is reliant on the use of carts. For those reasons, Riverland officials have chosen to postpone the tournament for three weeks.

The postponement provides an opportunity to register to play in the golf tournament and attend the dinner. If the date change makes those registered unable to participate, please contact David Lillemon at 507-433-0543 or Laurie Minehart in the Riverland Foundation office at 507-433-0630.
