Riverland Community College has announced the creation of the Alumni Impact Award, a recognition program celebrating graduates who are making meaningful contributions in their workplaces, professions or communities.

The Alumni Impact Award highlights the achievements of Riverland alumni at every stage of their careers. Graduates who have completed a certificate, diploma or degree may be recognized for leadership in their local community, advancement in their career field or academic pursuits, entrepreneurial success, or service and mentorship to others. The award reflects Riverland’s commitment to service, collaboration, innovation and respect.

Eligibility extends to graduates of Riverland Community College as well as alumni of predecessor institutions located in Austin, Albert Lea, and Owatonna.

The award seeks to honor individuals who demonstrate:

• A positive and meaningful impact in their workplace, profession, or community
• Strong character and leadership
• Dedication to service and collaboration
• Innovation and continued growth
• Support and encouragement of others through actions and example

Riverland invites alumni, community members, and employers to help identify outstanding graduates who exemplify the mission and values of the college.
