“It’s exciting to offer the Business Certificate opportunity along with the existing Associate in Science (AS) Business and the Associate in Arts (AA) with Business emphasis to students, " said Jill Holmes, business faculty. "The certificate provides a nice balance to the existing curriculum. The benefit of this new certificate is that it allows the student to select business courses that directly relate to their needs. This is an excellent opportunity for students who are interested in entering the field of business or updating their existing knowledge.”

"Business remains a popular career path for our students," says Danielle Heiny, director of admissions. "This certificate is an excellent opportunity because businesses often base an employee's advancement on upgraded or specialized skills."

Interested individuals should contact Riverland’s admissions department, schedule a career counseling appointment with a Riverland counselor, or contact the program advisor to determine if the Business certificate is the right choice for them. Students who are interested in quickly entering the workforce should consider the Business Certificate or AS Business degree.
