On August 1, Minnesota State marked the first day Scott Olson served as Chancellor.

In his introductory messge to all the colleges and universities of Minnesota State, he said:

Greetings!

It’s my first day as Chancellor of Minnesota State! I am excited as we embark on this adventure together. Over the course of the next several weeks, I will have the opportunity to see in-person all 15 bonding projects at our colleges and universities.  These will be quick visits so that I can familiarize myself with each project so I can begin advocating for our campuses needs.

I look forward to additional campus visits this fall where I will be able to engage with students, faculty, and staff.
