"Art Teachers Making Art" features work from artists who are Austin area art teachers. Art teachers who have time to create work for themselves is a rare thing. Their time, energy, and emotional intelligence are apt to be consumed by the multiple concerns of the teaching profession. This show represents the fortitude and playfulness of these artists who dare to teach.
