Personal work brings together the work of 8 Twin Cities illustrators. While illustrators often make art that is defined by client goals and expectations, they also make work that responds to their own passions and interests. Personal work can be an opportunity to explore strategies of making. It can reflect the joy of drawing or painting what or who you like. It can also become a channel to communicate a particular viewpoint or thought process. This set of images showcases what illustrators make when they are creating for themselves.
