Music
The Riverland Music Department is an active and vital presence in the college and its communities. The department offers a broad of courses, performance opportunities, guest artists and other learning experiences.
Riverland's music offerings are open to all Riverland students. Some students are pursuing careers in music, however many are pursing other programs of study, such as nursing, business, or education, but still are able to participate in music. Riverland's ensembles give regular performances throughout the state and region and have sung in major venues including Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. Music Talent Grants and other scholarships through the Riverland Community College Foundation are awarded specifically to students participating in music activities.
