Open Door Health Clinic

Open Door Health Center is a non-profit?community health center, providing quality affordable health care to everyone!

The Open Door team has an unwavering commitment to improving the quality of life for our patients and within our community. We do this by providing integrated health care services, regardless of the patient’s ability to pay. ?With our cooperative, team-based approach, Open Door providers offer quality?medical,?dental, and?behavioral health?care all in one place. Open Door also offers?insurance enrollment,?legal assistance, and pharmacy services onsite at the main clinic in Mankato. ?We have a sliding fee discount system that helps individuals and families with no insurance and those with high deductible insurance pay based on income and household size.

*Open Door provides free dental screenings to children in many elementary schools in and around Blue Earth County. Parents must register their children for this service.

There is?no cost?to participate in the school-based dental outreach program, which takes place at the child’s school. A parent or guardian must complete the form and answer screening questions.

Center Clinic

Volunteer based health clinic that provides primary care, reproductive services, counseling, and educational resources to uninsured or underinsured teens, women and men. All of our services are low-cost and our prices are based on the age and income of each person. Insurance is not required at our clinic and we will?not refuse service?to anyone who does not have the resources to pay.?

For many, our services are free and we're happy to help fill out any insurance forms for you. Individuals can also sign up for a waiver to cover all of their fees based on income through the?MN Family Planning Program

All services are confidential and no information will be released without signed consent from the client.

Community Health Services, Inc South Mobile Unit

The South Mobile Unit is an RV that has been fitted to serve as a mobile clinic with the primary patient population being migrant workers. The South Mobile Unit covers a large area of central and southern Minnesota. Communities in the unit’s service area include Austin, Blue Earth, Brooten, Glencoe, Arlington, and Montgomery. The unit typically is open Tuesday – Thursday each week. Anyone can schedule an appointment. Call for more details.

UCare Mobile Dental Clinic

The Mobile Dental Clinic offers dental check-ups, cleanings and simple restorative care to UCare members who have limited access to quality dental care. All care is provided by faculty-supervised dental, dental hygiene and dental therapy students from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, UCare's Mobile Dental Clinic (MDC) partner.
