Loan periods
Items borrowed from the Riverland Libraries vary according to the type of material.

Fines
Daily fines are not charged for Riverland owned books, videos or audiobooks but replacement cost and processing fees will be charged if items are not returned. Overdue notices are sent to patrons as a reminder. These notices are sent to your Riverland email account.
Course reserve loan periods are established by faculty member placing item on reserve. A daily fine is charged for overdue course reserve items.
Renewing Materials
Not all library materials can be renewed. The loan period information found in the preceding paragraph covers the materials that get checked out from our libraries.
Renewals can be made by:
- calling the library
- emailing the library
- coming into the library and speaking to staff
Renewals are not always allowed for Resource Sharing (Interlibrary Loan) materials.
Course reserve materials cannot be renewed.
