Karen Organization of MN - Refugee Employment Services

The Refugee Employment Services (RES) program helps refugees who have lived in the U.S. less than 5 years find stable employment. Through this program, KOM employment counselors facilitate job placement for refugees in the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota (Marshall, Austin, Albert Lea, Worthington, etc.). Intercultural Mutual Assistance Association

Employment services - IMAA assists refugees and immigrant job seekers to identify and reduce barriers to employment.

Interpretive and translation services - IMAA provided approximately 12,301 hours of interpretation and translation services to help bridge the language barrier that exists between individuals with limited english proficiency and the community in which they live.

Education services - IMAA reduces cultural and social barriers to health care through the work of certified community health workers

Somali Community Resettlement Services
