Advanced Placement Credit (AP)

Advanced Placement (AP) is a program of The College Board through which a secondary student completes college-level courses that are designated as AP in high schools.

College Level Examination Prep (CLEP)

College Level Examination Prep (CLEP) is a program of The College Board that allows students from a wide range of ages and backgrounds to demonstrate their mastery of introductory college-level material and earn college credit. Students can earn credit for what they already know by getting qualifying scores.

DSST Standardized Tests (formerly known as DANTES)

DSST Standardized Tests let students earn college credit by taking one exam instead of a full class. They are useful for students who already know the material and want to save time and money. Colleges decide whether they accept DSST credit.

International Baccalaureate (IB)

The International Baccalaureate® (IB) offers four high quality international education programs to more than one million students in more than 146 countries.

Military Credits

Recent legislation in Minnesota requires Minnesota State Colleges and Universities to review military academic transcripts and give appropriate credit based on the American Council on Education (ACE) recommendations.

Riverland Community College will award free college semester credits to graduating high school students who receive bilingual and multilingual seals and world language proficiency certificates
