Helpful tips:
- Use an email when creating the FSA ID. Using an email will make it easier to retrieve your username and password if you forget them in the future. Note: You cannot use the same email as your parents, use a personal email address that you will have access to for years to come.
- Add your mobile phone number when creating the FSA ID to make it easier to retrieve your username and password if you forget them in the future.
- Write down your username, password and security information, or you can take a picture of the information on the screen with your phone. Password keeper apps for your smartphone or creating a contact with the info are other options.
- Each person has to create their own FSA ID. The FSA ID will be associated with the Social Security Number (SSN).
- Choose security questions that are not likely to change in the future.
