Archive Record Analyst

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Student will be provided training & then will work independently. Prepare student records for electronic filing system including sorting, alphabetizing, scanning, linking, and auditing documents and assisting staff with projects. This position is responsible for preparing all archive records to be digitalized. this includes comparing documents to our current records and retention policy to determine what needs to be kept and what can be shredded. Once file is ready, the students paper file needs to be matched with an ISRS student record, if possible. Once prepped and matched (or not) the file is to be scanned into the correct drawer and file type. This position will also audit the work of others who are doing the archive along side them, to check for accuracy.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Be detail oriented, confidential, and comfortable with technology is a must. Student will encounter private data on student records and will be scanning in paper files for permanent storage.
