Students enrolling in the Diesel Technology program at Riverland Community College are required to have a specific set of hand tools at their disposal in order to perform required tasks while in the training program.
Students also do an internship near the end of the program, and most employers expect these technicians to provide a set of personal hand tools when they begin employment. This is typical within the industry.
Students are also required to have a device that can pick up Wi-Fi and receive internet within the campus building.
