Wellness Center Classes

The Blue Devil Wellness Center currently offers an in-person fitness area and virtual and in-person fitness classes.

Wellness Center Guidelines

  • The Blue Devil Wellness Center is open to current Riverland students, faculty, and staff.
  • Respect yourself, equipment, and all Wellness Center patrons and staff at all times.
  • Use equipment for its primary purpose. Use a spotter to ensure safety.
  • Sanitize and return equipment to the proper storage area when you are finished. Return used towels to a towel drop bin.
  • Proper workout attire and clean exercise shoes are required. No open-toed shoes.
  • Food & beverage use, other than water, is restricted to the hallway areas.
  • Outside personal trainers are not permitted to train clients within the Blue Devil Wellness Center.

COVID-19 Precautions 

To reduce the spread of COVID-19 and to keep all recreational spaces open for   student use, the following precautions should be taken:

  • Capacity.  Capacity per room is three(3) individuals.
  • Masks.  Patrons must wear their mask when not engaging in the physical activity- in other words, it must be worn until they reach their equipment and replace it after finishing that exercise.  Wellness Center Team members must wear their masks at all times.
  • Hand Sanitizing.  Patrons sanitize their hands upon entrance and exit of the Wellness Center spaces.
  • Ventilation.  Wellness Center area doors should remain open when possible to increase ventilation of the spaces.
  • Locker Rooms.  Locker rooms are closed to Wellness Center patrons due to COVID-19.
  • Minnesota Department of Health guidelines(MDH).  The most recent MDH and CDC guidelines are followed.
