Student Senate

Student Senate at Riverland

Each campus has a student governing body called the Student Senate. Representatives are elected in the fall and help plan activities, represent students, and support campus organizations throughout the year.

The Senate serves as a communication link between students and college administration while helping shape policies, programs, and campus life. It is a great opportunity to build leadership skills, civic awareness, and community involvement.

Student Senate gives you a voice on campus and a chance to make a real impact on student life at Riverland.

How to Join

Students in technical or occupational programs, as well as Liberal Arts or Undecided majors, can run for Student Senate by submitting a petition signed by 25 current Riverland students at the first Senate meeting.
