Mission & Purpose
The mission of the Riverland Food Pantry is to fight food insecurity in the Riverland community by providing food, clothing, and household items to students in need.
The Riverland Food Pantry is available to all current, enrolled Riverland students facing food insecurity. Food insecurity is defined as a lack of access to reliable food sources which may include anxiety over having enough food, a shortage of food in the house, reduced quality or variety of food, or interrupted patterns and reduced food intake.
Using the Pantry
Riverland Students check into the Pantry with their Riverland Student ID. Students can take up to three items per day which includes non-pershable and perishable snack and meal items and personal/household items.
Pet Care Supplies
Riverland Food Pantry now offers supplies for the animal members of your family. Stop by any time the pantry is open to see what is available. Pet Care Supplies that are packaged are accepted as donations anytime the Food Pantry is open.
