Course Add and Drop Deadlines
Full-Term Courses (Fall and Spring Semesters)
Add and Drop Period: Students may add or drop full-term courses through the fifth day of the semester.
Definition: A full-term course begins in the first week and ends in the final week of the term.
Non-Full-Term Courses: Courses that do not span the entire term have specific add and drop periods. Please check individual course details in the course search.
Summer Sessions
Add Period: Students may add courses through the third day of the session.
Drop Period: Students may drop courses through the fifth day of the session.
How to Drop or Add Courses
Options: Students can drop or add courses online or in person with an academic advisor.
PSEO Students
Signature Requirement: Post-Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO) students must obtain the signature of a college academic advisor or counselor to drop or add courses.
Adding Courses: PSEO students may add courses through the fifth day of the fall and spring semesters.
Dropping Courses: PSEO students may drop courses through the tenth day of the fall and spring semesters.
Transcript and Financial Aid Implications
Transcript Impact: Dropped courses do not appear on your transcript and do not affect your academic standing.
Financial Aid Repayment: Students who drop short-term courses for which they received financial aid may be required to repay funds in accordance with federal and state repayment policies.
